Our planet is threatened by multiple crises – a climate crisis, a food crisis, a financial crisis, violent upheaval – and these crises could split us apart or bring us together like never before.   

We believe it’s the challenge and the opportunity of our time. And we’re building Avaaz to meet it.

Already, our community of nearly 70 million members has been a key force in leading global public mobilisation to deliver the Paris Climate Accord, bringing UN statehood recognition to Palestine, creating massive marine reserves, regulating social media platforms, mobilising millions in humanitarian aid and so much more. We’re nimble, multi-lingual (21 languages and counting!), and fiercely independent (100% funded by small online donations from members). We’ve held over 10,000 rallies and events in every country in the world and raised over $100 million online.

But we’ve just scratched the surface of what’s possible – and we need more wonderful and brilliant people to take Avaaz to the next level. In the coming months we are hiring more staff members.
